Living Beyond The Limits

This world is an amazing and majestic place. Every single day almost 8 billion people each are in the process of writing their story. Yet no one is immune to life’s pain. Everyone experiences trauma in their lifetime. Physical, emotional, psychological, and/or spiritual assault and trauma come to us and at us with relentless pursuit as a result of living in “Paradise lost”. We have an enemy that is literally hell bent on keeping us from experiencing the full and free life that we are promised in God’s word.

I have battled mysterious and undiagnosed health issues for over a decade now. My desperate search for answers has taken me down many circuitous, varied and mostly unconventional paths. And though I haven’t yet found all the answers I’m seeking nor the full physical healing that we are destined for in eternity if not here below before, I have found deep, deep spiritual, emotional and even physical health and increased healing through the journey.

My desire here is to freely share the helpful parts of my journey and resources with others looking for similar answers. If there are areas of healing that you don’t see addressed on this site, please contact me and let me know. I am an avid, passionate and veracious truth seeker and researcher. I greatly welcome another quest to pursue hopeful answers and paths for others coming behind.

This website is not designed to sell anything to anyone. My sole purpose is to provide a resource for those hungry, hurting and/or desperate souls seeking healing and more of Yeshua, our God and Savior, the One true Lover of our hearts and souls.

Ultimate Healing

Through my passionate search for all things God and the full broad based healing that He promises us, I have brought together some of my most helpful resources.

The first priority is to pursue ‘ultimate healing’. This concerns YOUR spiritual journey. There is no healing in other areas if this one area remains untouched.

You may have all sorts of spiritual experiences, both good and bad. It is best to just look first at Jesus Christ, where most of the discussion and controversy surrounds. The Oxford scholar, C.S. Lewis wrote of Jesus saying this:

“I am trying here to prevent anyone saying the really foolish thing that people often say about Him [that is, Christ]: ‘I’m ready to accept Jesus as a great moral teacher, but I don’t accept His claim to be God.’ That is the one thing we must not say. A man who was merely a man and said the sort of things Jesus said would not be a great moral teacher. He would either be a lunatic–on a level with the man who says he is a poached egg–or else he would be the Devil of Hell. You must make your choice. Either this man was, and is, the Son of God: or else a madman or something worse…. You can shut Him up for a fool, you can spit at Him and kill Him as a demon; or you can fall at His feet and call Him Lord and God. But let us not come up with any patronising nonsense about His being a great human teacher. He has not left that open to us. He did not intend to.”

–C.S. Lewis in Mere Christianity

What did Jesus say?

‘I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one can come to the Father except through me.” (John 14:6)

‘For God so loved the world that He gave His only son, that whoever believes on him [Jesus] shall not perish, but have everlasting life.’ (John 3:16)

Paul put it this way:

‘…all have sinned and come short of the glory of God.’ (Romans 3:23)

‘…the wages of sin is death.’ (Romans 6:23a)

‘But God demonstrates his own love for us, in that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us.’ (Romans 5:8)

‘…but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.’ (Romans 6:23b).

‘If you confess with your mouth, “Jesus is Lord” and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. For it is with your heart that you believe and are justified, and it is with you mouth that you confess and are saved…’ (Romans 10:9-10).

Pray in your own way to Jesus that you believe he is God, ask Jesus to forgive you for all things done wrong, and ask him to give you the gift of eternal life. You can do this right now, right where you are now. If you did ask for Jesus to save you, please contact us to let us know! We can help you in other ways to continue your spiritual journey.

Spiritual

Scripture is clear about how it is we are to be saved. In one of many passages on this, Romans10:9 comes to mind first “….that if you confess with your mouth Jesus as LORD, and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, you will be saved.” And though this is all there is to salvation, the “working out of” requires a lot of work and effort on our parts; as well as an immense amount of bravery to go into the places His Holy Spirit leads us. As we say “yes” to His invitations for us to experience the “more” that He offers through our healing journey with Him, the more fully alive we become. We all deeply desire a deeper connection with our Creator whether we acknowledge this fact or not. It’s in our DNA. However, there are many things that can prevent this connection from happening. Healing spiritually allows all other areas that are shut down within us to flow more freely.

Emotional

Living in a broken, fallen and sinful world allows us to experience all kinds of known as well as undiagnosed trauma. Healing from the wounds this trauma inflicts upon us allows us to be much more deeply grounded as individuals, as well as within all of our relationships. Through getting to fully know our own stories, as well as allow God to help us interpret them through His lens and through His healing of the places that are deep within us but have gotten lost or forgotten, we recover these lost and/or shut down places.

Physical

Our bodies do, in fact, “keep score” of our emotional and spiritual trauma. This results in diseases of all kinds as well as any number of other physical ailments. As we heal, repair and restore our lives spiritually and emotionally, it is inevitable that our material bodies will begin to heal themselves physically also. As we press in for deeper healing in these areas, our bodies can and do make stunning physical improvements and recoveries.
